Built to last: Our commitment to longevity

Written by Shanne Pritchard | May 21, 2025

We firmly believe that longer-lasting products are better for the environment. By creating exceptional quality garments that are built to last, we aim to reduce waste and encourage conscious consumption.

AS Colour was born out of the need for premium t-shirts to use for merch. Evolving the vision, to someday become a leading supplier of premium blank apparel.
To achieve this, we’ve worked holistically on our approach to design, production, supply chain, and operations, wanting to be the best in all facets of our company. We are committed to delivering exceptional products, supplying the best quality canvases for others' self-expression, that stand the test of time.

We have a few key guiding values:
Products that are built to last, both in quality and in design. We design with a 5-year minimum trend life, meaning if we can’t see this being worn for the next five years, we won’t make it. And ultimately, we want to see it in wardrobes longer than that. For us, creating premium blanks that are built to last, with a focus on quality details and encouraging conscious consumption is the ultimate sustainable move. Standing against the industry’s fast fashion focus that has a big impact on the planet and on particular communities.

Building lasting supplier relationships, we value the suppliers who make our clothing and understand their livelihoods have an impact on the output quality. With that in mind we are big believers in having purchasing practices that don’t contribute to the systemic issues in our sourcing countries, it's our focus on the finer details that stand us apart. We also believe in standing with our suppliers through harder times like unrest or devastation to help maintain work and income for the workers.

Like everything, social and sustainable movements also trend; be it a buzz fibre, a sourcing country or a particular initiative. Throughout our 20-year journey, we’ve had to cancel out the noise and make the decisions that align most closely with our ethos.
