When it comes to building community and showcasing the versatility of our blanks, sometimes you have to think big.

To showcase what happens when creativity meets scale, we teamed up with Amsterdam-based creative powerhouse Freeter Studio and Studio KŌBŌ to bring an extra-extra-extra large idea to life: The World’s Largest Hanging T-shirt.
The 170XL T-Shirt
Inspired by over-the-top AI visuals of oversized apparel on social media, Yannick Torfs of Freeter set out to make the concept a reality, connecting with AS Colour’s Head of Europe, Sam Sharland, to bring the idea to life.
Recreating the iconic silhouette and neck label of our 5030 Box Tee on a massive scale, the resulting 170XL tee measures a staggering 5.05 metres (16 ft 6 in) from shoulder to hem, featuring full chest and back graphics applied via sectioned direct-to-film (DTF) transfers. Displayed inside Studio Kobo alongside a custom "ascolour. x freeter" vending machine dispensing standard-sized blanks, this collaboration pushes the boundaries of creative merch.
While the 5-metre giant remains a one-off, you can pick up a (normal-sized) 5030 Box Tee at our Amsterdam store on Wolvenstraat 18.
